A life-long resident of Kingman County, Mike began his career with Kingman Insurance Agency Inc. in 1989 after he received his Bachelors of Science degree from Kansas State University.

As Owner and President of Kingman Insurance Agency, Mike works in all areas of the company. His knowledge of the insurance business is unsurpassed.

Rita Wapelhorst, LUTCF, CISR: Producer/Agent

Rita joined the team in February 2002. She has been a licensed agent since 1993. She is experienced in all forms of Insurance, Life & Health, Long-Term Care, Property & Casualty, as well as Crop Hail. Rita is a long time member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.

Vita Henning: Personal Lines Agent/Customer Service

A life-long resident of Kingman County, Vita Henning began her career with Kingman Insurance Agency Inc. in June 1989 and became a licensed insurance agent in September of 1989.

Vita works with customers on their auto, truck, motorcycle, homeowners insurance, bonds. She is also a licensed notary public.

Geri Emery joined Kingman Insurance Agency Inc. in August 1999. Geri is a Certified Profession Secretary (CPS) her primary responsibility is working in our Claims Department.

Terri Bangert: Office Manager

Terri joined the agency in July 2006. Her primary responsibilities are making sure our agency is running smoothly.

Lorri Gilchrist: Customer Service

Lorri joined the agency in May 2007. Lorri is usually the first person you talk with when you call the office. She take care of the mail, billing and processing of policies and keeps our files up-to-date.

Leroy Meisenheimer

Leroy Meisenheimer, was born here in Kingman, moved away as a young pup, and returned in the early 1960’s to join his brother Francis in the insurance business. Leroy has officially retired, but is still at the office most of every day, keeping things running smoothly with his extensive knowledge of the insurance business.
